4th week, 3rd break

Emma is very difficult for me.  Her father has much more patience.  I am feeling very antagonistic towards this sick adult child, and she seems to know how to stir up my anger.

A better mother would be understanding and loving.  When she is angry or unreasonable, all understanding and love disappear.  I hate her.

She is still very unrealistic in her thinking, though not as “out” there.  She writes thank you letters to God, banks, insurance companies, friends, family.  Most of the time, she doesn’t put postage on the envelopes and they get returned.  I mail some of them for her – select ones that are to real people that can receive them and know who she is.

I do not want to have Emma in my life for the long term.  Thankfully, since she was diagnosed as having a lifelong mental disorder, she will qualify for State and Federal aid.  I am gladly paying our taxes now.
